Trevor Sutcliffe
Trevor is very experienced in supporting schools in their improvement journey and has worked in all phases of education for two large local authorities and as an independent advisor. He has an excellent track record in supporting schools to improve leadership at all levels, outcomes for children and inspection grades.
Improving outcomes for disadvantaged children is key to Trevor’s work as part of RADY (Raising Attainment of Disadvantaged Youngsters). Following the success of RADY in secondary schools, Trevor organises and delivers the free Primary RADY network meetings to allow for the sharing of ideas and good practice in ensuring that disadvantaged children are given every opportunity to achieve in line with their non-disadvantaged peers.
Since working independently, Trevor has led two Multi-Academy Trusts in the role of interim CEO, working closely with the DfE and ESFA in the process. This experience places Trevor in an excellent position to support more schools looking to form a Multi-Academy Trust.
Trevor is also an accredited consultant for Fischer Family Trust, an associate lecturer for Sheffield Hallam University and supports trainee teachers as a Pathway Tutor for TES Institute. He has completed NPQEL (Executive Leadership) training and is currently studying for a Masters degree.
